Finally, Japan has been asserting its territorial claims to Dokdo through various products, and now it's rice?

Yes, looking at photos recently released by Professor Seo Kyoung-duk of Sungshin Women's University, a 2kg package of rice produced in Shimane Prefecture, Japan, features large text reading "Japan's Takeshima" and "Rice from Shimane Prefecture."

It also includes absurd claims that Takeshima, which is Japan's term for Dokdo, is "inherent Japanese territory."

This is not the first time Shimane Prefecture has used its territorial claims to Dokdo in commercial products.

Last April, salt bearing the label "Takeshima" went on sale and sparked controversy, and every February, designating "Takeshima Day," the prefecture has even sold "Takeshima Curry" in its cafeteria.

Domestic netizens reacted with comments such as, "Now they are even exploiting rice," and "Putting forced claims on products doesn't change history."
