Choi Min-seok, who is shining alongside Gwak Been as one of Doosan's native one-two punches, maintained his dominant form against Kiwoom, an opponent against whom he had already secured a season-high 3 wins in their head-to-head matchups.

Using his signature precise control, he painted the corners of the strike zone with two-seam fastballs, cutters, and sweepers, pitching brilliantly through 6 innings, allowing 6 hits, 1 run, and striking out 5.

The batting lineup took control early by batting around in the 1st inning with 6 hits to rack up 6 runs. In the 5th, Ahn Jae-seok hit a massive two-run homer, and in the 6th, Severino slugged a colossal two-run shot measuring 145 meters for his first home run in the Korean league, easing the burden on Choi Min-seok.

Fifth-place Doosan routed Kiwoom 15-1, narrowing the gap with the fourth-place LG to 2 games.

Choi Min-seok claimed his 13th win of the season to take sole possession of the lead in wins while also maintaining his top spot in winning percentage.

NC triumphed after an extra-inning battle, pushing Hanwha into a 6-game losing streak.

Tied 7-7 in the 10th inning, Chun Jae-hwan drove in the game-winning run, and capitalized on a defensive miscue by Hanwha right fielder Lee Do-hoon to score 2 more runs and seal the victory.
