K League leaders FC Seoul have extended their winning streak to four games with another offensive goal blitz. Having piled up a staggering 17 goals over their last four matches, Seoul has further solidified its solo dominance at the top.

Seoul's scoring onslaught was opened by 2007-born prospect Son Jung-beom.

In the 14th minute of the first half, when Choi Jun struck a powerful ball toward him, Son instinctively deflected its trajectory to pierce Gwangju's net.

This marks Son's second league goal, following his debut goal against Gwangju back in March.

In the 22nd minute of the first half, captain Kim Jin-su took the baton, scoring his first goal of the season.

After conceding a left-footed mid-range strike to Gwangju's Choi Kyoung-rok and being chased within a one-goal margin, leading MVP candidate Jeong Seung-won took flight.

Right before the end of the first half, Jeong stole the ball from the opponent with a brilliant movement and connected it to Lee Seung-mo to record his 5th assist. Then, in the 6th minute of the second half during a counterattack, Jeong finished directly with his right foot to net his 8th goal of the season.

With Anderson adding a sealing goal to secure a 5-2 victory, Seoul exploded for a massive 17 goals across its recent four matches, winning all of them to firmly cement its runaway lead.

The gap in points between league leaders Seoul and second-place Ulsan has widened to 16 points, while Gwangju remained winless for its 24th consecutive match.

Jeonbuk, eyeing a reclamation of second place, took the lead in the 37th minute of the second half with a goal by Lee Seung-woo, but conceded an equalizer to Gerso five minutes later to end in a 1-1 draw, remaining in third place.

Summer signing Aias recorded a goal and an assist as Jeju defeated Daejeon 3-1, with Seo Jin-su managing only a consolation goal for Daejeon, propelling Jeju up to fourth place.
