Heavy rain is falling across the country today (the 30th).
Rain started falling yesterday, and so far, Gunsan has received more than 160mm of heavy precipitation.
Geumsan has also been hit with torrential rain nearing 90mm.
Currently, rain is falling only in some parts of South Jeolla Province.
Rain is expected nationwide today.
Looking at the forecasted precipitation, more than 200mm of heavy rain is expected in South Chungcheong Province, more than 150mm in North Chungcheong Province, and over 100mm in southern Gyeonggi Province, southern Gangwon Province, North Gyeongsang Province, and North Jeolla Province.
The rain will repeat stopping and starting, often showing lulls, but when it does rain, it will pour very heavily accompanied by gusts, thunder, and lightning, so thorough preparations must be made to prevent damage.
Heatwave warnings have been lifted in many areas.
They remain only in some southern regions and Jeju Island.
Today, Seoul's daytime high will reach 28°C (82°F), as the heat subsides.
However, centered around areas where heatwave warnings remain in effect, perceived temperatures will rise above 33°C (91°F).
Rain is expected to continue until Tuesday, mainly centered around the central regions.
