Korea Southern Power (KOEN), which lost contact with three of its employees amid devastating floods in Nepal, has dispatched a second response team to the country, led by Acting President Cho Young-hyuk.

The second team, consisting of Acting President Cho and eight headquarter employees, is scheduled to arrive in Nepal this afternoon (local time) to directly oversee local search and rescue operations.

Following floods that struck a hydropower plant construction site on the 26th, leaving three employees missing, KOEN previously rushed six headquarter staff members to the site the next day to support search and rescue efforts.
