A fire broke out in a passenger car driving on the Seohaean Expressway toward Seoul, near the Seosan Rest Area in Seosan, South Chungcheong Province, at around 12:15 AM today (the 30th).

Fortunately, there were no injuries as the driver evacuated on their own.

The fire was extinguished in 10 minutes.

Fire authorities believe the blaze started in the engine compartment and are investigating the exact cause of the fire.
