Fuel prices at gas stations across the country edged down slightly from the previous week, extending their downward trend to a 15th consecutive week.

For the fourth week of August, the average price of gasoline was tallied at 1,861 won per liter, and diesel at 1,845 won, keeping both fuels in the 1,800-won range.

International oil prices also declined, but the margin of the drop remained limited as negotiations between the United States and Iran stalled.
