A fire broke out at a single-story agricultural warehouse located in Baekhak-myeon, Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi Province, at around 1:30 p.m. today (August 29).

Authorities have confirmed that there are no casualties, as no one was inside the warehouse at the time of the fire.

The firefighting authorities deployed 17 pieces of equipment and around 40 personnel, bringing the major flames under control in 35 minutes and currently extinguishing the remaining embers.

However, because the warehouse is structured with sandwich panels, which are vulnerable to fire, it is expected to take some time to completely extinguish the blaze.
