A power outage occurred in the area of Goesan-eup, Goesan-gun, North Chungcheong Province, affecting 526 households at around 9:55 a.m. today.

Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) conducted emergency repair work and restored electricity supply to the entire section at around 1:00 p.m., about three hours later.

A KEPCO official explained, "It appears that a tree fell due to wind and rain, snapping the power line."

Goesan received 53.5 mm of rain from yesterday until noon today.
