A blackout occurred in four apartment buildings in Songjeong-dong, Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province, at around 7:00 PM today (the 28th), causing inconvenience to over 400 households.

Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) believes the outage was caused by a malfunction in the apartment complex's internal facilities.

While power is currently being restored to some complexes, a KEPCO official explained, "Recovery work is expected to be completed around 1:00 AM tomorrow."
