AFP reported on the 28th, local time, that another dam has collapsed within just two days in the Himalayan mountainous region along the border between Nepal and China, where massive flooding recently occurred.

Nepali police stated that they received information regarding another dam collapse on the Tibetan side, warning all security personnel and rescue workers deployed for search and relief operations to remain vigilant and immediately evacuate to safe locations.

Reuters reported that rescue operations in the Nepali region were suspended for an hour and thirty minutes.

It added that helicopter rescue operations underway in the Rasuwa district of Bagmati Province, northern Nepal, were halted, and villagers were witnessed urgently evacuating to higher ground on hillsides.
