SBS "Kick a Goal Handball Cup" to Air for 4 Episodes During Asian Games

SBS's hit variety show "Kick a Goal" is expanding its realm from soccer to handball.

The Korea Handball Federation announced that the "Kick a Goal Handball Cup," a special project organized to support the South Korean women's national handball team in their quest for glory at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, will premiere on September 2 and air for a total of four episodes (over four weeks) during the Asian Games period.

Yoon Kyung-shin, Doosan head coach and a world handball star produced by South Korea, along with Lee Sang-eun, the real-life model for the movie "Forever the Moment," will appear as head coaches. They will be joined by handball stars such as Park Ha-yan, Bae Minhee, Kim On-ah, and Shim Hae-in, with the aim of widely promoting the excitement of handball.

After the Handball Cup concludes, "Kick a Goal" will return to its main stage of soccer matches to continue its thrilling competitions.
