SHINee member Minho, who completed his military service in an exemplary manner six years ago, has been appointed as a public relations ambassador for the Ministry of National Defense Agency for KIA Recovery and Identification.

Minho attended the appointment ceremony held at the Seoul National Cemetery yesterday (August 27).

Moving forward, Minho will participate in major events hosted by the agency and promote the excavation project for soldiers killed in action during the Korean War.

Having voluntarily enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2019, Minho previously drew widespread attention by giving up his final pre-discharge leave to participate in a national defense exercise.

The agency explained that Minho's dedication aligns closely with the mission of the remains excavation project, leading to his appointment as PR ambassador.
