The moment the signal is given, a pack of dogs charges all at once toward a large bear.
Even as the bear flees and scrambles up a tree, the dogs pursue it right to the end.
This is footage released by authorities in Nevada, USA.
It turns out these dogs have received special training to fiercely bark and persistently chase bears when they appear, posing a threat to them.
They instill the perception that areas inhabited by humans are dangerous, encouraging the bears to return to the forest on their own.
It seems like a win-win operation that protects the safety of residents as well as wild bears.
