Over the weekend, rain clouds will systematically develop, bringing widespread rain across the country.
Looking at the expected rainfall amounts for today, up to 70 mm of rain is forecasted for the Chungcheong and Honam regions, while the southern coast, Gyeongsang provinces, and southern Gangwon Province could see up to 80 mm.
Tomorrow, Saturday, the nationwide rainfall will range from a low of 5 mm to a high of 60 mm.
Tropical nights are expected to persist overnight.
Today's daytime temperatures in the southern regions will drop slightly due to the rain, while Seoul will reach 32°C (90°F), similar to yesterday.
Starting from the weekend, the rain will gradually ease the sweltering heat both day and night.
Rain in the central regions will continue until Sunday morning.
Residents in the southern regions should prepare for heavy rain extending through Monday next week.
