The SBS Social Desk reporting team, which intensively reported on allegations of evidence concealment by the police officer in charge of the "Jang Yoon-gi case" that occurred in Gwangju last May and attempts by police leadership to downplay the incident, has won the Reporting and Coverage Division 1 award at the 431st Reporter of the Month Awards.

At the awards ceremony held at the Korea Press Center today (the 27th), the Journalists Association of Korea evaluated that the SBS reports demonstrated a powerful impact that shakes the credibility of the police organization.
