Foreign Ministry: 9 Out of 10 Koreans Stranded in Nepal Evacuated to Safety by Military Helicopter

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that 9 out of 10 South Korean nationals who had been stranded and waiting for rescue in the Rasuwa region of Nepal have been evacuated to safety via a Nepalese military helicopter.

The ministry stated, "Two individuals remain at the site, consisting of a Doosan Enerbility site manager and a consular official and administrative staff member from the embassy."

However, another 9 South Korean nationals affiliated with Korea South-East Power and Doosan Enerbility remain out of contact.
