This is a studio apartment area in Hayang-eup, Gyeongsan, Gyeongsangbuk-do, on the night of August 20.
He is wearing a wide-brimmed hat and a long dress, and holding a white carrier in one hand.
Looking awkward at a glance, this person is Jungmo, a Chinese national arrested on charges of murdering a female Chinese international student in her 20s.
Disguised in women's clothing, Jungmo headed toward Dongdaegu Station carrying the victim's smartphone.
After changing back into his own clothes in a restroom, he immediately turned off the smartphone.
Police believe Jungmo acted this way to commit a perfect crime.
[Police Official: Wearing women's clothes like the victim, holding the victim's carrier, and carrying the victim's phone—when we asked the taxi driver, they said it was a woman, so we thought that person was the victim.]
It was newly revealed that Jungmo was a part-time instructor at the university the victim attended.
This is the classroom where the suspect taught as a part-time instructor during the last semester.
It was confirmed that the deceased graduate student also took the suspect's class here.
[University Official: (Since there are many Chinese students) I understand he was hired as a related major due to language issues, and he had a primary job elsewhere.]
Specific motives for the crime have not yet been revealed.
Police have confirmed circumstances indicating that Jungmo damaged and abandoned parts of the victim's body, and are conducting search operations centered around nearby garbage incinerators.
