(G)I-DLE member Soyeon has addressed various rumors surrounding her while sharing her journey of realizing her dreams as a singer and producer in an intro video released ahead of her first solo full-length album, "Awesome Life."

Cube Entertainment released the intro film for Soyeon's 1st full-length album, "Awesome Life," through (G)I-DLE's official SNS channels at midnight on the 26th. The video, unveiled on Soyeon's birthday, delivered a deep emotional resonance to fans.

Soyeon did not shy away from the controversies surrounding her and addressed them directly. During her joint performance with the band Jaurim at the 2022 MAMA Awards, she changed her lyrics to sing, "What kind of award are you going to give us this year, MAMA. You know who we are this year's syndrome. I refuse specially fabricated awards." This led to interpretations that she was expressing disappointment over failing to win a grand prize. Although she did not attach any special commentary, Soyeon candidly showed the scene and shared her thoughts.

Soyeon also directly refuted the rumors surrounding her 2022 track "LIAR" being a "diss track directed at her ex-boyfriend" for the first time in four years.

Following the release of (G)I-DLE's first full-length album b-side track "LIAR" in March 2022, speculations arose that she was targeting rapper Changmo. The rumors spread as grounds were raised that a spelling-related phrase in the lyrics was reminiscent of Changmo's past controversy regarding the usage of specific Korean spelling characters, and that a certain word in the song overlapped with the title of a track from Changmo's second full-length album. Addressing this, Soyeon cleared up the unfair misunderstandings, stating alongside a caption reading "Complete rumor," "I'm not bold enough to do something like that."

In the video showcasing the unique color of her full-length album, Soyeon shared her feelings, saying, "Actually, I think I've put this off for quite a long time," and added, "When I'm a grandmother and look back at this album, I think I'll find it really romantic."

Soyeon's first solo full-length album, "Awesome Life," will be released on various online music streaming sites at 6:00 PM on September 7.
