Park Hyun-ju, Chairman and Global Strategy Officer (GSO) of Mirae Asset Group, criticized U.S. President Donald Trump on the 26th, saying, "I really cannot understand him."

Meeting with executives and employees of Digital X at the Four Seasons Hotel in Jongno-gu, Seoul, that evening, Chairman Park made the remarks while noting, "He viciously throws parties gathering with cryptocurrency figures."

The comments were intended to criticize U.S. President Donald Trump for pursuing pro-cryptocurrency policies and maintaining close ties with industry insiders.

Park said, "Even the chairman of Mirae Asset, who sells stocks, does not act like that, yet how does he trade stocks every day?" Adding, "The United States is a very docile country. Still, there is no talk of impeachment."

He added, "Once the midterm elections are over, the Senate landscape is likely to change a bit."

Park also pointed out, "Isn't there a company called World Liberty Financial (established by the Trump family)?" Adding, "For politics to intervene in a certain asset, that is extremely dangerous."

At the same time, he emphasized, "I am a person who has never met a single member of parliament," and "I have hardly ever met anyone who serves as a director at a regulatory agency."
