The lower trunks are lower than those of other varieties, making it difficult to enter or move around without bending over.

This is another palm farm near the crime scene, packed with Canary palms standing 3 to 6 meters tall.

The trunks extending tightly through narrow gaps easily break, and their tips are sharp.

Nearby residents say they cannot believe a missing person was found in such a place.

Residents familiar with the characteristics of Canary palms are questioning the police conclusion that Jang likely took her own life.

Online communities have also echoed opinions that it is nearly impossible to hang a rope on Canary palm branches.

Experts repeatedly emphasize that the possibility of homicide must not be ruled out.
