Professional baseball team kt wiz defended their top spot, driven by Kim Hyun-soo's ninth-inning dramatic walk-off hit.

KT defeated the Doosan Bears 5-4 in their home game of the 2026 Shinhan SOL KBO League held at Suwon kt wiz park on the 26th.

Maintaining a half-game lead over the second-place Samsung Lions, KT held onto the top of the standings through a thrilling comeback.

Down 3-4 during their final attack in the bottom of the ninth, KT created an opportunity when pinch hitter Yu Junkyu hit a single off Doosan closer Lee Young-ha.

Following batter Han Seung-taek's bunt resulted in the lead runner being called out, seemingly wasting the chance, but Jang Jin-hyuk's walk and an opponent error loaded the bases.

Stepping up to the plate with one out and the bases loaded, Kim Hyun-soo hit a two-run walk-off single to right field to end the game.

This marks Kim Hyun-soo's 10th career walk-off hit.

KT's Kim Jung-woon, who pitched a scoreless inning after taking the mound in the ninth, earned his first career win since debut.
