The "2026 SBS Run & Music Festival in Andong," which started from the idea of a beginner running producer, will be held in Andong, North Gyeongsang Province, on October 24.

This festival began when the producer, who had no running experience, asked running creator "Maranic TV" for help. The goal is to create a festival that goes beyond the commercial limits of existing marathon events, puts runners at the center, and promotes regional coexistence.

The production team personally ran and inspected the course starting from the Andong Dam waterfront path, passing through Imcheonggak, the Seven-Story Brick Pagoda at Beopheungsaji, and Wolyeonggyo Bridge, allowing participants to experience the history and nature of Andong. The course was designed so that runners can visit and stay at local restaurants and cafes after running.

As news of the event spread, donations from local merchants and businesses in Andong followed. One hundred meal vouchers for Andong jjimdak, 100 bottles of Andong soju, and 500 seasoned boneless mackerel packages were delivered, and one company pre-purchased and gifted 50 participation passes for beginner runners. In addition, a donation project for local promising track and field athletes will be held together.

On the evening of the event day, a concert will be held where participants who finished the run and citizens can enjoy together. Artists such as YB, 10cm, BTOB, and YENA are scheduled to take the stage and heighten the excitement of the festival.

The "2026 SBS Run & Music Festival in Andong," created together by runners and local residents, is currently accepting applications on its official website, and the event day's footage can be viewed through SBS broadcasts in November.
