The film "Avengers: Endgame" is returning to theaters seven years after its initial release under the title "Avengers: Endgame Encore".

According to its distributor, Walt Disney Company Korea, this special screening will take place in Infinity Vision-certified theaters, which offer an optimal movie-watching experience through large screens, clear and bright image quality, and exceptional sound.

"Avengers: Endgame Encore" depicts the final war where the Avengers risk everything to save the fate of the world amid an existential crisis where only half of humanity survived following the finger snap by the MCU's ultimate villain, Thanos.

Upon its release in 2019, "Avengers: Endgame" grossed $2.79943 billion at the global box office, ranking second of all time, and drew 13.97 million viewers in South Korea, maintaining the top spot in domestic box office history.

The poster for "Avengers: Endgame Encore" released by the distributor features Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) wearing the Infinity Stone-mounted gauntlet, alongside numerous characters who shined in "Avengers: Endgame", including Steve Rogers (Steve), Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), and Peter Parker (Tom Holland).

In addition, the end of the released trailer features the phrase "The story continues" and teases the exclusive first-time premiere of footage from "Avengers: Doomsday", available only in "Avengers: Endgame Encore". With high anticipation surrounding Robert Downey Jr.'s return as Iron Man turned Doctor Doom, this footage is also drawing significant attention.

This theatrical re-release appears to be an event held ahead of the release of "Avengers: Doomsday" this coming December. It is designed to recall personal memories through "Endgame", widely called the final and greatest piece of the "Avengers" series, while heightening anticipation for the upcoming return in "Doomsday".

"Avengers: Endgame Encore" will be available in theaters on September 23.
