A 20th-something Chinese international student who had been missing was found dead five days later. A 30-something Chinese man has been arrested as the primary suspect—he was the one who initially reported her missing to the police.

It states that A, a 20-something Chinese woman attending a graduate school in Gyeongsan, has gone missing.

According to TBC's reporting, A entered Korea through Daegu International Airport on the 14th and suddenly lost contact just one day before her commencement ceremony.

Her last communication was a phone call with her family in China.

This is the building where the commencement ceremony was held at 11:00 AM on the 20th.

A was scheduled to receive her master's diploma on this day, but she did not appear until the end of the event.

[Graduate School Official: She said she would attend the commencement ceremony, but she didn't come. So we couldn't get in touch with her, and we filed a report with the police and other places....]

On the sixth day since contact was lost, the police, who launched an investigation after receiving the missing person report, confirmed A's final whereabouts.

CCTV footage captured her heading together to the home of a 30-something man she knew.

However, A was ultimately found dead inside this man's home.

Shockingly, it was revealed that the 30-something male suspect himself had directly reported A missing to the police, claiming she had disappeared.

[Police Official: It is visible that they were heading toward the house together. Since it has been confirmed that they went together....]

The police are conducting an autopsy to determine the cause of A's death while investigating the 30-something man regarding the specific motives behind the crime.
