Today (the 26th), rain and showers are expected in various parts of the country.

Around 5 to 30 mm of rain is expected in the greater Seoul area and Gangwon Province today.

Between this afternoon and evening, showers may occur in the eastern inland areas of South Jeolla Province, parts of the inland Gyeongsang region, and mountainous areas of Jeju Island.

For the time being, coastal areas of Jeju and the south coast should remain cautious of strong swells.

Heatwave warnings in the central regions have eased somewhat.

However, heatwave warnings remain in effect primarily centered around the Chungcheong and southern provinces.

Current temperatures start at 25°C (77°F) in Seoul and 26.7°F (80°F) in Busan.

During the peak of the day, Seoul will reach 31°C (88°F), while southern regions such as Gwangju will rise to 35°C (95°F) and Daegu to 36°C (97°F).

Frequent rain and showers are expected for the rest of the week.
