Police have launched an investigation following a report that an unidentified man broke into a vehicle and stole cash at an Incheon International Airport parking lot.

According to the Incheon Yeongjong Police Station on the 25th, a 112 emergency call was received on the afternoon of the 23rd at 1:50 PM reporting a theft from a vehicle at the long-term parking lot of Incheon Airport's Terminal 2.

Dashcam footage from a nearby vehicle captured the male suspect breaking a car window using a tool presumed to be an emergency escape device.

Police have secured closed-circuit (CC) TV footage from the scene and vehicle dashcam recordings to track the suspect's movements.

A police official stated, "No other damaged vehicles have been confirmed," adding, "We plan to apprehend the suspect by analyzing his escape route."
