The children's curse has finally been broken.
On the August 25 broadcast of SBS's "Whenever Possible", Jin Ki-joo and Cha Tae-hyun appeared as gap friends.
During the broadcast, the four people who succeeded in the first gap mission complained of fatigue and moved to have a meal. At a kalguksu restaurant visited upon the recommendation of Gwangjin resident Jin Ki-joo, they shared a natural conversation.
Jin Ki-joo, who does weight training, pilates, and occasionally boxing, drew attention by saying, "I started because of my stamina, but it helped when teaching a proper lesson."
Afterward, the four plunged into a mukbang with their heads down. The four just ate frantically. In particular, Cha Tae-hyun drew attention by repeatedly admiring, "I don't have much interest in eating, but this place is really delicious."
The meal bill bet that day was a bottle opener remote. Vainly, before completing even a full circle, the bottle opener stopped pointing at Yoo Yeonseok, making him the winner.
The four then moved to meet the second gap owner. Learning that an elementary school student was the main character, the four felt extreme tension. That was because they had repeatedly tasted failure in gap missions with elementary school gap owners. Hoping to break the children's trauma this time, they met the gap owner.
The main characters of the day were four friends who first met in the first grade and became best friends. The child who applied for the show said, "I started watching "Whenever Possible" since last year and it was so fun, so I applied," adding that Yu Jae-seok felt so, so fascinating. The child also brought a smile by saying, "My mom said she prayed before giving birth to me so that I would be born as cool as Uncle Yoo Yeonseok."
The kids said they dreamed of receiving a gaming console in their dreams. The kids showed a lukewarm reaction to the school backpack, the prize for the first-stage mission. However, when a Lego set appeared in the second stage, they showed a completely different reaction from before, bringing laughter.
Overcoming their trauma, the four succeeded up to the second stage. Wishing for the gaming console they had dreamed of, the kids shouted "3GO". And like the kids' wish, the third-stage gift was a Nintendo gaming console.
Even at the story that failing in the third stage could mean retrieving all gifts, the kids shouted "GO", and accordingly, the four seriously challenged the third-stage mission.
After repeated failures, the final challenge. With Jin Ki-joo's active contribution, they succeeded in the mission, and the kids who obtained the Nintendo Switch enjoyed their joy even by dancing.
In particular, the Yuyu brothers, who broke the children's curse, drew attention with more relieved faces than ever. Cha Tae-hyun, who became a human good-luck talisman that always led mission success whenever he appeared, made people laugh by joking, "How far does my pork head meat performance have to go?"
Meanwhile, at the end of the broadcast, actor Hyun Bin and Woo Do Hwan were previewed as the next gap friends, heightening anticipation for the next broadcast.
