The identity of 52-year-old Kim Sang-soo, who was arrested on charges of retaliatory murder after being reported for stalking by his ex-girlfriend, has been made public.

Kim is accused of harboring a grudge after a woman in her 60s, with whom he had previously been in a relationship before breaking up, filed a stalking complaint against him. Early in the morning on July 5, Kim allegedly attacked and killed her with a weapon in the Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province area.

Kim's personal information will be posted on the Gyeonggi Nambu Provincial Police Agency website until September 24.
