Singer G-Dragon has been belatedly revealed to have invited "heroes" of our society—including descendants of independence fighters and Korean War veterans, as well as correctional officers working quietly behind the scenes in correctional facilities—to BIGBANG's 20th-anniversary world tour concert.

As the honorary chairperson of the JusPeace Foundation, G-DRAGON purchased concert tickets using his own funds as part of the foundation's ongoing "Hero Recovery" cultural and arts initiative, marking another meaningful step forward. Following his invitation of uniformed public servants such as firefighters and police officers during his world tour last year, he has now expanded the scope of invitees.

The JusPeace Foundation's "Hero Recovery" initiative was launched to remember the dedication of those who have fulfilled their responsibilities in their respective positions for the safety and peace of our society, and to deliver time of gratitude, respect, and recovery through culture and arts.

This concert was attended by descendants of independence fighters and Korean War veterans who dedicated themselves to the freedom, independence, and peace of South Korea, alongside correctional officers who have quietly carried out their duties for the rehabilitation of inmates and social safety on the front lines of corrections.

The invitations were arranged to reflect on the reality that our everyday lives continue upon the sacrifices and responsibilities of others, and to convey gratitude and respect through culture and arts to those our society must remember.

Oh Hee-young, CEO of the JusPeace Foundation, said, "The ordinary days we enjoy contain the sacrifices and dedication of someone, as well as the efforts of people who are still fulfilling their responsibilities in their places. Although it is not an extravagant reward, we wanted to convey the message that our society does not forget their hard work."

She added, "I believe that culture and arts can comfort someone and provide a small strength to return to daily life. We will continue our activities through the 'Hero Recovery' project to discover those who have protected the community from unseen places in our society and to express gratitude and respect through art."

Meanwhile, starting with the Goyang concert, BIGBANG has embarked on the full-scale journey of their "BIGBANG 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR 〈XX : COSMOS〉," which will feature a total of 33 shows across 19 cities worldwide, including North America, Europe, Oceania, and Asia.
