Actor Kwak Dong-yeon, 29, enlists for active duty in the army on August 25.

Kwak is scheduled to quietly enter the Army Training Center today without any separate official events, where he will receive basic military training before serving at his assigned unit. His discharge is set for February 24, 2028.

Earlier in the day, Kwak posted several photos on his social media with a message saying, "I will be back. I hope everyone stays healthy and happy," bidding farewell to his fans. The released photos captured his daily life after shaving his head ahead of his enlistment. Looking relaxed and adapted to his short hair, he spent his remaining time before enlistment freely, such as riding a motorcycle.

Previously on August 14, Kwak shared a quirky style featuring a bleached and dyed buzz cut on his social media along with the witty caption, "The short life of a gold kiwi."

Meanwhile, having debuted in the 2012 KBS2 series "My Husband Got a Family," Kwak has been active in various works including "Love in the Moonlight," "Vincenzo," "Queen of Tears," and "6/45," alongside his special appearance in the Netflix series "Donggung."
