Angel Reese of the Atlanta Dream in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) has set a new single-game record for rebounds.

Playing 38 minutes in a game against the Los Angeles Sparks held today (the 25th) at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California, Reese scored 11 points and grabbed a total of 26 rebounds, combining 18 defensive rebounds and 8 offensive rebounds.

The 26 rebounds surpass the previous single-game record of 24 set in May 2003 by Chamique Holdsclaw, who was playing for the Washington Mystics.

Powered by Reese's dominance in the paint, Atlanta defeated Los Angeles 78-71.

Reece also grabbed her 458th rebound of this season, surpassing the previous record of 451 set by A'ja Wilson in 2024.

Park Ji-hyun of Los Angeles played for 7 minutes and recorded 1 assist.
