Actor Cha Tae-hyun, appearing on "Teemantanam," touches the pride of "National MC" Yoo Jae-suk, turning the set into a sea of laughter.
SBS variety show "Teemantanam," which has established itself as a Tuesday entertainment powerhouse in viewer ratings and OTT buzz, released on the 25th stills from the filming site where MCs Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok, along with guests Cha Tae-hyun and Jin Ki-joo, visited the nooks and crannies of Gwangjin-gu, Seoul ahead of its broadcast.
The catalyst for Cha Tae-hyun's "Yoo Jae-suk hunting" antics that day was Yoo Yeon-seok's respect for acting. When Yoo Yeon-seok praised the two by saying, "Comedy acting is the hardest, but my older brothers pull it off," Cha Tae-hyun drew a line, saying, "Wait, you shouldn't compare Jae-hyung and me." He then delivered a critical blow that scratched Yoo Jae-suk's pride, adding, "Jae-hyung just wings it, whereas I do systematic, analytical acting."
Cha Tae-hyun's "stomach-churning" teasing did not stop there. Throughout the day, he played with Yoo Jae-suk's nerves by casually tossing out remarks before playing innocent, keeping Yoo on edge. In particular, he slyly asked a young, loyal fan of Yoo Jae-suk they met on site, "Yoo Jae-suk looks a bit disappointing in person, right?" and induced the child to nod with a smile, causing Yoo to fly into a rage.
With Cha Tae-hyun's relentless teasing, Yoo Jae-suk eventually wailed at Jin Ki-joo standing nearby, pleading, "Ki-joo, please give Tae-hyun a proper lesson," which reportedly sent the set into a burst of laughter.
The delightful tiki-taka chemistry between Yoo Jae-suk and Cha Tae-hyun, who never fail to show off their bickering chemistry whenever they meet, will be broadcast on "Teemantanam" at 9 p.m. on Tuesday, the 25th.
