Following consecutive SBS reports highlighting that permeable blocks installed for rainwater drainage are failing to function properly, the Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that it is conducting a comprehensive inspection of the entire permeable block installation process.

Seoul City explained that if violations are found—such as supplying products that differ from the test reports—it plans to take strong administrative actions, including criminal complaints, and formulate measures to improve related systems.
