President Lee Jae-myung has accepted the resignation submitted by Justice Minister Jeong Sung-ho.

Kang Yu-jung, senior presidential spokesperson, announced today (August 24) that President Lee accepted the minister's resignation after Jeong expressed his inability to continue performing his duties due to health deterioration.

The senior spokesperson added, "The government plans to promptly proceed with follow-up personnel appointments to prevent any disruption in state affairs."
