The YouTube channel of 86-year-old veteran actor Jeon Won-joo, which gained attention by gathering 110,000 subscribers, has abruptly halted operations. With no new content uploaded for a month, the production team suddenly stepped down and shared farewell messages, drawing widespread interest in the background behind the decision.

On the 24th, the team behind the YouTube channel "Jeonwonju-ingong" posted a notice stating, "We are writing to announce that the production team, which has handled the production and management of the channel since its launch, will no longer be producing the 'Jeonwonju-ingong' channel."

The production team shared a message of gratitude, saying, "We have spent a joyful and happy year thanks to the subscribers and teacher Jeon Won-joo. Thank you once again, and we wish peace and blessings to the homes of all our subscribers."

Upon hearing this news, subscribers flooded the comments with reactions such as "Please explain her recent situation properly" and "Are you shutting down the channel like this?" In particular, as no new content had been uploaded to the channel for a month, some commenters left messages expressing worry, saying, "I'm worried she might be having health issues," and "Don't ignore us, the production team, and let us know the current situation."

Prior to this, last month, a video of a trip to Jeju Island featuring Jeon Won-joo was released on the YouTube channel of her close fellow actor Sunwoo Yong-yeo. In the video, Jeon Won-joo struggled to find her ring, rummaged through her bag, found it inside a wad of tissues, and remarked, "I thought I was in Seoul," sparking widespread concerns regarding whether she might be experiencing age-related health issues or dementia.

In response, Jeon Won-joo's agency drew a line, stating that the channel is not disappearing but rather undergoing reorganization.
