Actor Kim Soo-hyun has resumed his broadcast activities after a hiatus of 1 year and 5 months.
On August 23, Kim Soo-hyun appeared as a special guest on "Mahakarya RCTI 37," a live broadcast celebrating the 37th anniversary of Indonesian private broadcaster RCTI. Stepping onto the stage in a suit, Kim Soo-hyun greeted the audience by saying, "Hello, I am Kim Soo-hyun. Thank you so much for inviting me to such a meaningful event." Local fans reportedly sent passionate cheers for his long-awaited return.
On this day, Kim Soo-hyun performed a live version of "Dreaming," an OST from the 2011 KBS2 drama "Dream High." Although he initially appeared somewhat nervous, he quickly regained his composure, and the fans filling the audience responded with applause and cheers.

Kim Soo-hyun has recently been selected as a model for a Philippine fashion brand and has begun advertising activities, expanding his scope of activities internationally. He also plans to hold a fan meeting in Manila, Philippines, on October 2.
This appearance drew attention as Kim Soo-hyun's first official activity in approximately 1 year and 5 months, following privacy allegations raised by the YouTube channel Hover Lab in March of last year.
At the time, Kim Soo-hyun became embroiled in allegations that he had been in a relationship with the late Kim Sae-ron since she was a minor, and his agency denied the allegations, stating that their relationship began after Kim Sae-ron became an adult. On the 29th of last month, the police decided not to forward the charges against Kim Soo-hyun regarding violations of the Child Welfare Act and false accusation, and Kim Se-ui, the head of Hover Lab, was arrested and indicted on charges including the dissemination of false information related to Kim Soo-hyun.
