Group NCT 127, celebrating their 10th anniversary since debut this year, has returned with their 7th full-length album "BLINGY".

This album was produced with a 5-member lineup consisting of Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Jaehyun, and Haechan due to Mark's departure and the military enlistments of Doyoung and Jungwoo. Excluding Mark who left the group, the remaining 7 members recently renewed their contracts with their agency, SM Entertainment.

During a press conference held today (August 24), NCT 127 emphasized their pride and solidarity, stating, "We have returned to Seoul, our starting point, to become the 'fixers of Seoul' and will run anywhere whenever 'Czennies' (fandom name) call us."

The members shared that they were moved by the enthusiastic response from fans during their first performance of the new song "Pinata" on "America's Got Talent", and introduced the title track of the same name, "BLINGY", as an impactful song containing intense energy.

"BLINGY" is an English word meaning shining or sparkling, and Yuta emphasized, "The lyrics capture the meaning of shining like fireworks, and the choreography is also our best ever."

Johnny said, "I worried a lot about how to express 'BLINGY' in the music video, and we tried to portray the process of finding out that the real 'BLINGY' is inside us."

The members mentioned that the b-side track "NCT 127 Million Miles" features the voices of Doyoung and Jungwoo, who are currently serving in the military, adding a refreshing vibe, and described it as "the only refreshing song on the new album."

Regarding the world tour taking place next month, Haechan emphasized, "This tour is a limited-edition concert performed as a 5-member group." He noted that since existing hit songs and choreography are all being rearranged for the 5-member lineup, fans should come to the concert venue to experience the unrepeatable charm of the 5-member formation.

NCT 127 debuted in July 2016 with the ambition to "roam the world based in Seoul, the home of K-pop," incorporating Seoul's longitude (127) into their team name.

Their representative songs include "Fire Truck", "Cherry Bomb", "Regular", "Kick It", and "Fact Check".

NCT 127 has previously landed 10 consecutive albums on the main U.S. Billboard album chart, the "Billboard 200", and through four world tours, they have filled large-scale concert venues around the world such as stadiums, domes, and arenas, while also surpassing 100 solo concerts in total.

NCT 127 will kick off their fifth world tour, "NEO CITY - THE REDLINE", from September 18 to 20 at the KSPO Dome in Seoul's Olympic Park.
