The second independent counsel team led by Kwon Chang-young, launched to investigate remaining allegations following the three major special investigations, has concluded its 180-day probe by indicting 58 people, including former President Yoon Suk Yeol and Kim Keonhee.
Expanding its investigation across power organs such as the military, prosecution, National Intelligence Service, police, and Board of Audit and Inspection, the team massively indicted a large number of figures, including a former prosecutor general, a former NIS director, and a sitting lawmaker.
