YouTuber Park Wi is facing criticism after releasing CCTV footage of a fall accident that occurred while he was getting off a KTX train.

Although Park deleted the video and posted an apology, public criticism regarding his imprudence has not subsided.

Earlier on the 21st, Park posted CCTV footage of the accident on his YouTube channel, stating that he suffered a fall while coming down a boarding ramp from a KTX train.

The video showed Park falling after his wheelchair wheel caught on the foot of a public service worker who was trying to help him.

Regarding the accident at the time, Park said, "It wasn't intentional, but I was angry just by the fact that his foot was placed on the ramp."

However, this sparked criticism over whether it was appropriate to make the incident a public issue by releasing the CCTV footage even after the public service worker had apologized at the scene.

In the comments section of an article about Park, a person claiming to be a railroad engineer, identified as A, explained the equipment and working methods used by on-site workers.

"Station staff and public service workers simply use the wheelchair lifts provided at the stations," A said, adding, "They sometimes hold the lift down with their feet to prevent it from floating up during boarding. This incident was also an accidental occurrence while trying to prevent the lift from lifting, rather than an intentional act."

A also expressed the view that responsibility should not be shifted onto on-site workers.

"If you want to place blame, you should point out the unstable equipment, so why are you putting people who are working hard on-site in a difficult position?" A urged, adding, "I hope you issue a proper and formal apology."

As the criticism grew, Park took down the video and posted an apology, saying, "I apologize to everyone who worked hard at the scene."
