People Power Party Lawmaker Lee Jin-suk announced that she is filing a criminal complaint for defamation and insult against Democratic Party of Korea Representative Kim Min-seok, who referred to her as a "female Hitler."

Lawmaker Lee's side argued that Representative Kim's remarks during the joint campaign rally for Jeollanam-do and Gwangju on the 15th, where he mentioned her by saying, "We will not let a female Chun Doo-hwan or a female Hitler set foot in the Republic of Korea," crossed the line of political criticism and constituted malicious personal attacks.

Lawmaker Lee plans to submit the complaint against Representative Kim to the Yeongdeungpo Police Station in Seoul this afternoon.
