Kim Si-woo and Kim Joo-hyung have advanced to the Tour Championship, the final stage of the PGA Tour playoffs, for the first time in three years.

Im Sung-jae competed in the Tour Championship for seven consecutive years from 2019 to 2025, but fell short this year.

Kim Si-woo shot 1 under par with three birdies and two bogies in the fourth and final round of the BMW Championship, the second playoff event held at Bellerive Country Club in St. Louis, Missouri.

Finishing tied for 33rd at 2 under par for a total of 278, Kim Si-woo secured the 30th spot in the FedEx Cup rankings to confirm his place in the Tour Championship.

Kim Joo-hyung also finished tied for 28th after shooting 2 under par with three birdies and one bogey, joining the Tour Championship at 29th in the FedEx Cup rankings.

Kim Joo-hyung signaled an exit from his slump by winning the Genesis Scottish Open this season, and rode that momentum into the Tour Championship.

Im Sung-jae notched one eagle and one birdie, but struggled with four bogies to finish 1 over par and tied for 10th in the tournament.

Ranking 37th in the FedEx Cup standings, Im Sung-jae failed to secure a ticket to the Tour Championship, which is awarded to the top 30 players.

Im Sung-jae struggled with his shots, including hitting his second shot into the water on the par-4 2nd hole and recording a bogey.

He turned the momentum around on the par-5 8th hole by sinking an approach shot from 22 meters out straight into the cup for an eagle.

However, he failed to shave off any more strokes after recording a bogey on the par-4 12th hole and a birdie on the par-5 17th hole.

While South Korean players Kim Si-woo, Kim Joo-hyung, and Im Sung-jae all competed together in the Tour Championship in 2023, only two made the final roster this time as Im Sung-jae failed to advance.

The BMW Championship trophy went to Wyndham Clark of the United States.

Clark showcased his resilience by making consecutive birdies on the final three holes, finishing at 17 under par with a total of 263 to defeat Patrick Cantlay of the United States, who finished at 14 under par with a total of 266, by three strokes to claim the 3.6 million dollar winner's purse.

With three wins this season, including the major US Open and The CJ Cup Byron Nelson, Clark climbed to third in the FedEx Cup rankings.

Rory McIlroy of Northern Ireland competed for the title in the same group as Clark, but finished the tournament in third place at 13 under par with a total of 267.

McIlroy advanced to the Tour Championship at 11th in the FedEx Cup rankings.

Scottie Scheffler of the United States finished tied for 12th, defending his position at the top of the FedEx Cup rankings in first place.

The Tour Championship, which opens on the 27th at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia, features only the top 30 players in the FedEx Cup rankings competing for a total purse of 40 million dollars to determine the ultimate champion of the season.
