Police have launched an investigation after a man died from a suspected electric shock in the machine room of an apartment building in Incheon.

According to the Incheon Fire Headquarters and other sources today (August 24), a report was received at 10:37 AM yesterday stating that Mr. A, a man in his 20s and an employee at the apartment management office, was not breathing in the basement machine room of an apartment building in Okryeon-dong, Yeonsu-gu.

When fire authorities arrived at the scene, Mr. A was already deceased.

Police and fire authorities believe Mr. A suffered an electric shock while taking a shower in the shower room inside the machine room, and are currently investigating the exact circumstances.
