Scream Erupts at Police Station Civil Affairs Office... Quick-Thinking Officer Saves Life

A woman suddenly collapsed at a police station civil affairs office.

Fortunately, she was able to be saved thanks to the prompt emergency measures taken by a police officer.

On June 22, a woman in her 50s who visited the civil affairs office of the Yongin Dongbu Police Station.

Suddenly collapsed while complaining of difficulty breathing.

Inspector Kim Minhee, who was working at the traffic civil affairs booth at the time, heard the scream and rushed right over like this.

She then asked people nearby to call 119 and performed CPR.

Inspector Kim continued CPR for 6 minutes following the instructions of the paramedic on the connected phone call.

Meanwhile, fellow police officers opened the doors in advance so that the emergency response team could enter the civil affairs office without delay.

Thanks to this quick response, the woman fortunately was able to regain her breath.

She was transported to the hospital by the 119 emergency rescue team and received treatment.

Having recovered her health, the woman reportedly visited the police station again to express her direct gratitude to Inspector Kim.
