The 2nd Comprehensive Independent Counsel team, led by Kwon Chang-young, which has investigated remaining suspicions following the three major independent counsels, is scheduled to hold a final briefing this morning (the 24th) to announce the results of its 180-day investigation.

The independent counsel team has indicted a total of 58 individuals, including former President Yoon Suk Yeol and Kim Keon-hee.

However, despite being the largest-scale and longest-running independent counsel investigation in history, it failed to reach conclusions on suspicions including the alteration of the Seoul-Yangpyeong Expressway route, the Roh Sang-won notebook, and the presidential office's intervention in the Suwon District Prosecutors' Office investigation.
