Choi Chan has emerged victorious at the KPGA Tour Donga Membership Group Open (total purse of 700 million won) following a grueling 31-hole marathon.

On the final day of the tournament, which featured the resumption of the third round followed by the fourth round at the Sol Course (par 72) of Sollago Country Club in Taean, South Chungcheong Province, Choi finished with a total of 20-under 268. He held off a fierce one-stroke challenge from 2008-born amateur national team player Yu Min-hyuk.

Having secured his maiden regular tour victory at the Woori Financial Group Championship in April, Choi claimed his second title of the season just four months later, taking home the winner's prize of 140 million won.

With his second win of the season, Choi joined Jang Yu-bin (two wins) in the multiple-winner circle.

Current national team member Yu Min-hyuk delivered an impressive performance, displaying bold play among seasoned professionals to finish alone in second place at 19-under 269.

The tournament faced disruptions due to severe weather accompanied by lightning, leaving 72 players unable to complete their third rounds and forcing them to navigate a heavy schedule of holes on the final day.

Resuming from the 6th hole of the third round, Choi carded a 6-under 66 to enter the fourth round with a two-stroke lead.

Combining the remaining 13 holes of the third round and the full 18 holes of the fourth round, he effectively played 31 holes on the final day.

Maintaining a steady game to preserve his two-stroke lead through the 12th hole, Choi encountered trouble on the 13th hole (par 4).

After missing the green, his approach shot rolled past the pin, resulting in his first bogey of the tournament.

This narrowed his lead to just a single stroke over Yu Min-hyuk, who had been aggressively cutting down the deficit.

However, Choi bounced back by sinking a 4-meter birdie putt on the 14th hole (par 4) to widen the gap once again, maintaining his score through the final hole.

Jeong Jae-hoon, who leads the season earnings and total points list on the second-tier David Golf Tour, and Park Jung-hoon, who debuted on the KPGA Tour this year, also stayed in contention until the end, finishing tied for third at 18-under 270.
