Democratic Party leader Kim Min-seok stated today (the 23rd) regarding the government's tax reform plan, "For single-home owners who are non-residents, various and inevitable reasons for non-residence in reality must be broadly recognized to eliminate blind spots."

Speaking at a high-level party-government consultative meeting held at the Prime Minister's official residence in Samcheong-dong, Seoul, on this day, Kim said, "While I fundamentally agree with the stance of expanding real estate supply and the direction of the tax reform, I would like to offer a few complementary opinions."

Kim stated, "Regarding the tax reform plan to adjust the basic comprehensive real estate holding tax deduction for single-home non-residents from 1.2 billion won to 900 million won and increase the tax burden ceiling to 200%, in-depth deliberation is necessary."
