Song Young-han Jumps to Tied for 6th After Shaving 5 Strokes in 3rd Round of LIV Golf Indianapolis

Song Young-han has climbed into the upper tier during the third round of LIV Golf Indianapolis.

Playing on the third day of the tournament at The Club at Chatham Hills (par 70) in Westfield, Indiana, today (August 23), Song shot a 5-under 65 with one eagle, four birdies, and one bogey.

Having stayed tied for 20th through the second round, Song positioned himself in a tie for 6th place at 11-under 199 overall.

He sits two strokes behind sole leader Michael La Sasso of the United States, who leads at 13-under 197 overall.

Starting from the 6th hole, Song picked up a stroke each on the 7th and 11th holes (both par 4s).

On the 522-yard par-5 14th hole, he landed his second shot 1.5 meters from the pin and finished with a putt to secure an eagle.

After adding two more birdies, Song recorded his only bogey of the third round on the 2nd hole (par 4) by three-putting from 1.8 meters away from the cup.

Kim Min-kyu carded four birdies without a bogey, raising his ranking to a tie for 23rd at 8-under 202 overall.

Lee Tae-hoon, a Korean-Canadian who was the sole leader after the second round, grabbed three birdies but struggled with six bogeys.

Finishing at 8-under 202 overall, Lee dropped to a tie for 23rd.

An Byeong-hun finished the third round tied for 31st (6-under 204), and Moon Do-yeob finished tied for 40th (3-under 207).
