A fire broke out at the Bangeojin Live Fish Center in Dong-gu, Ulsan, late last night (August 22) at around 10:40 PM and was extinguished in about an hour and a half.

Authorities reported that there were no casualties.

As the flames spread, the Dong-gu Office issued an emergency text message to residents near the scene at around 11:18 PM, instructing motorists to detour around the roads near the building and urging citizens inside the building to evacuate outdoors.

Fire authorities are currently investigating the exact cause of the fire and the scale of the damage.
