A fire broke out at a house in Gwangsi-myeon, Yesan-gun, South Chungcheong Province, at around 2:10 a.m. today (August 23).

The fire was extinguished in about an hour and a half, and a woman in her 60s and a man in her 60s who were inside the house sustained minor injuries, including smoke inhalation and first-degree burns, and were transported to a hospital.

Fire authorities are investigating the exact cause of the fire.
